This website is operated by GALAXY CONTRACTORS, LLC, trading as Galaxy Contractors, a general contractor serving Cedar City, St. George & all of Southern Utah.

We are a service-area business based in Cedar City, UT. We work at our customers' properties rather than from a storefront, so there is no public street address. Reach us either of these ways:

We are a small local business. A person reads these, and we answer in good faith whether or not a statute obliges us to.

Information you give us:

• Your name and phone number when you send the contact form. These are required so we can call you back.
• Your email address and a description of your project, if you choose to give them.

Information collected automatically:

• Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, which include your IP address and browser type, for security and troubleshooting.
• Nothing else. This site currently runs no analytics and sets no cookies.

• To answer your enquiry and give you an estimate.
• To schedule and carry out work you hire us for.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We do not use what you send us to build a marketing profile, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

We share your information with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only so they can do the job we hired them for:

• Our website host, which stores the site and keeps server logs.
• Our email provider, which delivers the contact form to our inbox.
• The Better Business Bureau, whose accreditation seal appears in the corner of every page. Loading that seal tells BBB your IP address, the same as any image loaded from another site. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. No money changes hands over your data in either direction.

We will also disclose information if the law requires it.

This site sets no cookies today, which is why you were not asked to accept any. Our cookie policy explains what would change if we add analytics later.

Nothing goes into your browser's local storage either. We store no preferences and no identifiers on your device.

We keep enquiries for as long as we are talking with you about a project, and for a few years afterward so we can look up work we did for you. Records tied to a job we completed are kept for as long as tax, warranty and licensing rules require. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

The site is served over HTTPS, form submissions go to our email provider over an encrypted connection, and access to the inbox is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if something happens that affects your information.

Most privacy statutes set revenue and data-volume thresholds that a business our size does not meet, so we are not going to claim a compliance badge we have not earned. What we will do is honor these requests in good faith from anyone who asks:

• Tell you what we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it, unless we are legally required to keep it.

This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will delete it.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes get a note on the site itself, not a silent edit.
